Or are they similar to the rules that God set forth upon the land and those that our fore-fathers set in the Declaration of Independence? To me, they sound like sound morals that everyone should be able to agree upon. That is if you have a soul...

I think that if you would look at the first Iraq war where our country forced Bush Sr. to end it before it should have, you would see why we spend so much in Iraq. You can not create a change in an area without assisting and supporting their growth. And the money issue apparently does not matter because in Obama's eyes the way to fix that is to print and spend more. I believe that it is funny we are so caught up on the spending that has occurred in Iraq, but no one remains asking why our government is still sending $3 Mil to open a town museum in Podunk, OK. Why are we so worried about assisting a country when we waste $400 on a bolt? Check the government spending and the pork. Then you tell me how you can support a $3 trillion dollar budget. You tell me where THAT money is going to. I won't see a dime of it, and I am sure you won't either. Plus, as the current generations in power, we are to be the people who are the guardians of the future. If we say "oh, well" now, what will happen to our country in 5 years, or 10? You can't say that it won't have an effect on you, because it will have an effect on your children and their children. Don't be as selfish as the majority of the baby-boomers, be responsible and plan ahead.

I just have to say... if our citizens are not allowed to follow the Second Amendment the way we feel we should be allowed to, why not have a private police force? I believe that XE would be a great candidate for the job. I'll gladly pay for those guys to be protecting our streets any day. They are more professional and better trained than the police force, and they have proven their love for our country by being former soldiers, they also have less casualties than the military or police force and a higher kill ratio on those who are committing crimes. Plus, they did an amazing job in New Orleans after Katrina. And please don't anyone bring up Nisoor Square, incidents happen, just remember how our government dropped nukes on the innocent people in Japan, or the mistakes the military makes killing numerous non-combatants and we never hear about it, and they are never held accountable for it.
