Building The Perfect Beast : Roger Ebert On Pixar's "Up"

Robo, Thanks! Truth is that I fully intend to see it in 3D too, wouldn\\\'t miss out on that opportunity. I saw Coraline in 3D and thought it was wonderful, so while I think Ebert\\\'s comments are insightful, I also find them to be a bit curmudgeonly too. Perhaps he\\\'s Carl Fredrickson in disguise. ;-)

Anthony, do you think this is a Safari issue, or is there something that needs to change in TinyMCE?

Building The Perfect Beast : A Couple Of Key Features Not Obvious From The WWDC Keynote

I have my eye on a new iPhone, but may not pull the trigger until the fall. Kathy on the other hand is in need of a new phone. The power button on her iPhone no longer works and the replacement/repair cost is the same as a brand new phone with a new contract. I'm curious about something though... you say that you may be able to use your old phone as an iPod touch. How would you go about doing that? Is it some kind of hack? Because my understanding was that if the iPhone wasn't being used as an iPhone it was a brick. I'd be curious to know how you'd pull that off. Also, are you doing any iPhone development? We're in the process of building an app at my office. If you're game, hit me up and maybe we'll get you on board to do the programming. Thanks for stopping by David! -Jeff

Building The Perfect Beast : More On Quicken Financial Life For Mac

Sally, I no longer have QFL installed on my Mac, so I can't look at the program and see if categories are supported. If I remember correctly, I think they are. If not you can still use tags in a more structured fashion and treat them as categories. Thanks for stopping by! -Jeff

Building The Perfect Beast : Chilling

Agreed. And what really frustrates me is the levels to which politicians will stoop and the transparently disingenuous outrage they show. Schumer is "my" senator from New York. Honestly, I don't think this guy could make a living of any kind outside of politics. I have a very low tolerance for anyone in the political arena, unfortunately, I see no one on the horizon who is likely to change my opinion. Thanks for checking in Eric.

Building The Perfect Beast : NPR Tribute To Paul Harvey

Vegas, I agree wholeheartedly. I started listening to Paul Harvey in my late teens when I was working as a carpenter. The man who was my boss used to stop work for lunch in time for us all to sit around and eat while we listened to Mr. Harvey. I didn't listen to him as much or as often in recent years simply because I wasn't around a radio when he was on. I did catch him last week though, and it was a pleasure, as usual. Thanks for checking in! -Jeff

Building The Perfect Beast : Safari 4 Breaks Some WordPress Features

From what I can tell in the WordPress forums it has something to do with tinyMCE, the WYSIWYG editor WP uses for creating posts. Apparently it wasn't broken for the last private beta, but something broke when they released the public beta. Hopefully it'll get fixed before it's sent out as a general release. For me, for now, it's Safari 3 on my laptop or Firefox on my desktop. Thanks for checking in! -J
