All these azzhats do is point to localized droughts & other extreme conditions that do not have any sort of uniformed behavior globally...then toss in a bunch of tech pseudo science verbal diarrhea...and presto "climate change". But we are supposed to ignore it when localized events contradict their claims because it doesn't have uniformity across the globe. Such a stupid pathetic game.

You think following Jesus is just because someone is "weak"??? You think someone who lives in a country that persecutes & murders Christians, when they refuses to renounce Jesus as their Lord & Savior is because they are weak?

Yeah, uh huh....

Yeah we fail, we sin...but a Savior does not leave us to self destruct without showing us a way out by delivering us from ourselves. We still have to choose the right thing, and there remains no excuse for us choosing dependencies on substance abuse to "feel good" in bad times, when we should be trusting in Him to make us complete, lacking no good thing.

Another words the whole point of calling to Jesus is to change us & take us off a path of self destruction.

My point is simple. You are pandering to Muslims, its just plain wrong. 2nd Corinthians 6:14-18 does not mention marriage obivously. "Yoked" is such a easy concept to relate in those verses. Wearing a yoke means sharing each others burdens in what the other offers, working together, agreeing. The word came from a farm implement harnessing two work animals to better sustain work that needed to be done. And even the following verse establishes in more clear context that it's referring to just staying away from the wrong kind of contact with evil.

"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."
2nd Corinthians 7:1

...another complete cop out to justify your position, which in turn results in this absurd honor bestowed upon a book full of Satanic verses.

" So you advocate burning Qur'ans so that Christians will be killed in response and you will have a nice object lesson about islamist attitudes? Not sure I buy into that lesson plan ... "

Sorry but the appeasement approach has, is, and will always fail. News flash...Muslims are murdering Christians solely for the expression of their faith already. Islam is going to use any excuse, including stupid ones like "disrespecting the Quran", insulting the prophet blah blah blah.

"Interesting about the comparison to Nazi Germany. Did you know that the Arabs supported the Nazi's cause in WWII? Or are you learning the new "politically correct history?" I do not agree with burning of the US flag nor how the veterans of Vietnam were spat upon by "liberal radicals", but I do not advocate killing them for doing it. If this burning takes place, I believe that it will show a stark difference between Christian attitudes vs Islamist attitudes. Therefore, let 'em burn!"

Chet thank you for offering reality and some more sanity to the responses here. No mystery that Hitler's book Mein Kampf is one of the most popular books behind the Quran in Islamic nations. No mystery that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem held personal audience with Hitler and counseled him on the "final solution" for Jews during his reign of power. Nazism and Islam were instant pals and gave birth to entire division of Nazi SS troops during WW2 in the Balkans.

"James 4:4 is violently ripped out of context - "the world" does not equal unbelievers. If you read the preceding verses, he's clearly talking about rejecting the values, desires & passions of the world. You really have to do some creative twisting of the Bible to come up with your interpretation!! It's about values and sin, not people!! "

You claim I "violently rip" that verse out of context with that complete hatchet job you just did upon it? So "friends" doesn't mean people???? And doesn't mean unbelievers??? Good grief with that flaky bizarre method of interpreting scripture you could make the Bible say ANYTHING you want "Follower of Christ"...and you go after Terry Jones as a cult??? Yeah sure uh huh.

Now I suppose these verses are also excluding people when instructing Christians about ungodly communion???

"Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, 'I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,' says the Lord. 'And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you. And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,' Says the Lord Almighty." 2nd Corinthians 6:14-18

Oh boy I await the silly "out of context" blather you are going to try to use on those verses. That should be quite comical.

"Going around burning Qur'ans is not only disrespectful towards Islam, but it is a direct insult towards Muslims, who revere the book"

And how on earth do you even tell them then that their belief system is a lie and the gospel of Jesus Christ is the truth!!!!??? If they are not lead to comprehend that Islam is nothing more than satanic lies...how are they ever going to reject it??? IS this possibly why Christianity today is failing so at reaching the Islamic world with the gospel of Jesus Christ? Your answer certainly appears to be a non confrontational, appeasing, pandering approach that is more comfortable in attacking other Christians than it is to truly show the gospel of Jesus Christ is the truth and the Quran is not to them. That is why I assume you are doing this out of fear.

Sorry but you are directly contradicting scripture with your "friend" pandering to Muslims. Reach out and witness to them with the gospel of Jesus Christ...pray for and show mercy & compassion and kindness to people who call themselves Muslims [or Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists, New Agers whatever] ? Of course!!! But to draw them within a circle of companionship, communion, fellowship is plainly forbidden...and you are simply disobeying the Bible. Period. Jesus did not go to unbelievers just to "hang out" and enjoy their company. His goal was clearly to reveal to them He was the Messiah, the lamb of God.

"You really need to learn to differentiate between respecting & honoring an ideology and respecting individuals!"

Is this some sort of joke with you...you make my point about differentiating between respecting people upon the basis of them as humans NOT their ideology...like that supports your assertion we should have close communion, break bread, sit in the counsel of Muslims???

Huh????

It's the OPPOSITE. Anybody who is not a born again believer in Jesus needs to understand we Christians love them not for what they do or believe...but for simply who they are. There is only two groups of people according to the Bible...those in the Kingdom of God and those in the kingdom of darkness. Muslims do not make any sort of special bridge that we can claim intimate friendship with. That communion is ever so plainly revealed in scripture reserved for members of the body of Christ.

Yes the burning of the Quran has more legitimacy under the rights of free speech, making a political statement more than Acts 19. My other points I have presented on treating the Quran as something so special in equivalency argument to "well Muslims might start burning Bibles"...sure is a odd stance for a Christian, in that where does scripture for believers in Jesus command us to respect lying beliefs that result in eternal separation from God after death? There is no special anointing upon a psychical Bible that offends God if it is burned by somebody. The tragedy is more rooted in the fact you have to learn what it says. The offense is when someone rails against it's teachings in practice, which millions and millions of Muslims do day in a day out in persecuting Christians through out the world solely based upon their practices.

No Christian should make statements in attacking lies of the devil in free lands? If appeasing Muslims strictly from the basis of their belief system is not from a stance of fear of Islamic rage, what is it from then? Certainly I do not find a scriptural backing for honoring hideous lies that destroy entire cultures and drags untold millions to hell...awaiting from there the great white throne judgment.

Why does Islam incur such extra special care & honor Follower of Christ? Even if you are not doing it from a stand point motivated by fear, it is a LEARNED BELIEF SYSTEM apart from any ethnic/lineage group has has submitted themselves to. Is cannot be "racist" or bigotry based upon color of skin, Muslims are not a special race of humans, it is not the inherent ideology of Arabs or anybody else. It's origins are clearly rooted in Babylonian paganism, the very thing Abraham was commanded by flee from...then it eventually spread into Arabia. The ka'ba is itself was imported from Mesopotamia, making the link clear as a bright blue bird day.

"Muslim friends"...

Yes God's kindness leads us to repentance, His mercy and grace remains over non believers in order to call them into the kingdom and we are the witnesses to reach out. You can kindly tell someone they are wrong in their beliefs and treat them nicely, but calling them "friends" directly contradicts the Bible's call for believers to reject communion & fellowship with darkness.

"Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."
James 4:4

"If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself."
1st Timothy 6:3-5

Clearly theses verses in Timothy is referring to a point of contact that reaches beyond witnessing for the faith. It clearly deals with beyond conversing in a witnessing attempt because of the "anyone teaches" context. I cannot think of a ideology on the planet that distorts what Jesus is about more deceptively & cunningly than teachings that come from Islamic circles. Their trash parasitically co-opts Jesus for the express purpose to subtly draw a person away from Christianity into a Islamic based teaching system that panders to curiosity about Jesus with statements like "we love Jesus!...we honor Jesus as a great prophet!"...only to deny everything the Bible teaches about Him being the only means of salvation, His divinity, His place as the second member of the Godhead.

Where does Muslims in general fit concerning this?

Now do you understand Follower of Christ why I have reservations concerning you and your approach to Islam? To be honest I have no clue what Terry Jones teaches doctrine wise and I never stated I am a part of agree overall with his ministry. Why I make comments here is because I do agree with his statements about Islam...which is hardly the completely ridiculous statements from you that they are some equivalence to Jihad terrorism. That is the absolutely most retarded thing I have read on this blog so far.

"then you really need to read your Bible with at least the slightest bit of care rather than seeking support for your militaristic beliefs!"

Good grief. My expressing military action against Islamic Jihad has nothing to do with preaching the gospel to Muslims...it has to do with protecting all the innocents against the slaughter of people who deserve to live out their lives. Burning a Quran makes a PERFECT statement that Islam will NOT be pandered to by the likes of fearful dhimmi people like you, that Islam will not be honored. They are a "cult" for doing this? Wow you sure like to pander to Islam.

"But you would probably still accuse Paul of pandering to occultists!"

What kind of absurd accusation is that? What on earth? They BURNED the books for heaven's sake, they utterly destroyed the material. Sure sounds like a bold statement against occultic practices, yet you some how twist against what I'm saying about Islam? They got rid of any junk and boldly spoke the truth in replacing it.

"But for Christian churches to hold Qur'an bonfires will only do damage to the cause of Christ! "

Not really. Only to you fearful dhimmis who think pandering to Muslims is "loving" them, while you wink at their hideous ideology and don't even denounce the Quran's utterly sick instructions like treating women like sub human property, treating Jews as of they are "decendents of apes and pigs", encouraging violence against non submissive people who reject Islamic rule.

You can take your respect of Islam and kindly shove it. Islam needs to be exposed and resisted. The people that are caught within it's hideous lies need to be told exactly what it is.

13 years ago @ http://www.islamisofth... - Honest Confessions fro... · 3 replies · -1 points

First of all I said "if you are a follower you would understand"...that is a denial of your personal faith? That is me speaking from the fact I do not know who you are and I have no idea concerning your true intentions, and I was referring to the Acts where believers burned occultic books. IF you truly are a follower of Jesus this teaching would be common knowledge. Secondly my church in Willmar has invited Somalis to come and has witnessed to them, only to have threats leveled against them "we hate you Christians, we'd kill you if we could"...still there is no hatred towards them, not wanting any of them to perish but come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. There is no "Crusade" against Somalis here in Willmar, to enlighten you alittle the town for the most part has welcomed them with open arms...and Willmar is generally a conservative Christian majority that has also welcomed a even larger Mexican population. Who says I insult Muslims and shove the fact Islam is the beast system of Revelation into their faces when I'm trying to witness to them? Only you are, the insinuation I do is probably rooted in your fear of Islam...like I'm just some crusty red neck who just cannot wait to fight a fight with Muslims? I worked with them every day and I personally have to deal with them day and day out and NEVER made their ideology a issue in my dealings with them. Like I said I respect people because they are humans, that means everybody is treated with the same honor...however I NEVER give anybody the appearance they are a extra special person, even if they are a believer in Jesus, let alone a Muslim. This way you love ALL people the same, but at the same you can separate cause and effect behavior from something good or wrong they have learned.

I think you need to have a little thing called common sense to differentiate between loving a individual and giving them the truth and not pandering to the lies they have believed. I have personally held conversations with Muslims, fully expressing my opinions concerning Islam and told them I was a believer in Jesus and have had no violent run ins...because I made it abundantly clear I respect them because they are a human, NOT because they hold to Muslim beliefs. Quit trying to label Muslims as something special where we need to cater to their insane ideology.

I want to see ALL Muslims repent and know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, BUT at the same time I "love my neighbor as myself" and will not allow Islam to run over theirs and mine right with Sharia, replacing the Constitution that protects ALL against any form of tyranny.

Yes I hate Islam, I hate it enough to want to see the light of the truth of God's word destroy it completely, I want to see EVERYBODY delivered from Islam.

"To fear the Lord is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, evil behavior, and twisted speech."
Proverbs 8:13

Do you hate Islam "Follower of Christ"??? Telling a Muslim that Islam is a sick and twisted ideology is not hating them. Get it?
