Please Help. I have a iphone 2g. It has been unlocked and working well since last October. The last time I updated the firmware was in January. Today I tried to use redsn0w and now I am stuck in emergency mode. When I try to restore my phone in Itunes ... The itunes window only shows a generic name of "iphone" and my serial number. When I restore I am still only getting emergency settings and I can not see any iphone icons or my springboard. I have tried redsnow 0.7 and 0.8 and both get stuck at reboot. I have tried disconnecting the USB and also holding down power and home to force reboot still nothing. When I put my phone in recovery mode and then also in DFU and run redsn0w it dosn't get stuck in reboot and everything looks like it is working except when it finishes I Just get a lit black screen. When I reboot it goes back to recovery mode. I only have a T-mobile sim card...... is there anyway to fix this?

I should also add that i am using itunes 8.2.1 on a Mac platform
