I am in Philadelphia proper and am not aware of any meetups. The one time I met up with Toastpeople, I had to import them from Jersey and Delaware. I do know that there's a pretty inactive Philly Hairpin group? https://www.facebook.com/groups/201617763231377/

Thank you for this suggestion; it will certainly improve my Gotham experience.

TOASTPOST UPDATE:

THANK YOU to ladyimogen who sent a WONDERFUL card, along with a Kate Beaton comic and cake recipe! I can't wait to try it out!

(Sorry for the delay, I got the card on Wednesday but haven't been around The Toast much this week.)

Whoops, completely forgot to put my username on any of my postcards. Hello, that was me! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

My dad scoffs at your FLEECE! headline. He has lived in Minnesota for his entire life and has NEVER worn a fleece. He still wears shorts when it's 30 degrees out and doesn't know why everyone else complains about the cold.

Never not burning the roof of my mouth with pizza.

Sure, I could wait for it to cool, I guess.

...I don't like It's a Wonderful Life either. It's a Christmas Eve tradition at my in-laws. :/

I know that Woody Allen is a piece of shit, but HOLY FUCK, I would've hated Manhattan anyway.

Never finished the Stars Wars, LOTR, or Godfather trilogies because I watched the first films of all three and was bored.
