Gun violence is a symptom of troubled society.Maybe we should prioritize that first.Going to the more root of the problem than the one on the surface which is risky because of the amount of gun ownership in the country.Also guns are power.We cant just let it on just few hands.I know little bit of control is necessary but on and by each side.

I would agree more if comprehensive gun control not only mean laws that limit gun sales, gun ownership etc but more importantly control gangs and other organised criminal activities, illegal trade in arms, background and mental health checks etc in the states.

Most school mishaps are done by troubled teenagers(which in itself is a different problem).But kids of that age are skilled enough to get their hands on guns if they want to unless they are kept really secured.Nonetheless one can never and should never be too confident.

These guys are really half minded.They dont know what they dont know.I made a list of approaches to gun control and what is the public opinion in favor or critics.and i think it depends on the common ground not what these fanatics think.
