use itunes to install no_bb_xxxx, hold shift and click restore
select no_bb_xxxx, once thats done
then you use redsn0w again and click on jailbreak.

i did a custom ipsw, install through itune, then i have to activate using att sim card. there is no cydia icon.
do i need to use redsnwo using my custom ipsw that i create? or do i just run the jailbreak?
ok i took the risk and did what i did. once you install custom ipsw created with redsn0w and install through itunes. go back to redsnow and click on jailbreak. that will hactivate and you have cydia.
there wasn't any where on post about go back to use redsn0w to install cydia when creating custom firmware. i thought it was like snowbreeze, once you create and install it there is cydia.
