Culture for All : Will Hillary Defeat Obama?

I disagree, Steven. I think Obama will win the nomination. I used to think otherwise, but clearly I was wrong, and I admit when I am wrong!

Oh well, I don't even care anymore. I would like to eat some yummy chocolate. :)

Culture for All : One Mans Terrorist is Another Mans Freedom Fighter?

Hi Steven! Great video! I disagree with some of his statements and feel he is overly broad, but overall, it is a great description of PoMo thought. Read more about Michel Foucault - the gay grandfather of 'post-modernism' who supported the Ayatollah. Islamism/Leftism found its footing with that man.

Because, really..."who are we to say that we are any better than they are, anyway? Actually, we're worse!"

Hi Euphrosene! He was actually quoted as saying it is inevitable.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2008/feb/08/uk...

Culture for All : Healing Work

Great story. (I wonder where you found it? Hehe!) Anyway, it is people like that principal that change the world. There is so much good in the world; we just have to see it. :)

Culture for All : The Problem With All Racism, Ethnocentrism, Religious Intolerance, Etc

I agree with you, Steven. There are differences amongst people. But I would like to go a step further.

The reality is that while most Muslims are not terrorists, most terrorists are Muslims. Does it really make sense to randomly search everyone, including the little old lady, rather than engage in a form of profiling? We live in the real world, and in the real world, not everyone acts the same.

That does not mean that Muslims v. Jews v. Christians should be treated differently before the law - they should not. One law applies to all, and with that one law applying to all people, it should apply to all nations, so that Saudi Arabia, the USA, and Israel are all treated equally.

Culture for All : The HISTORY of antisemitism

Hi Carol! Great comment! Yes, there have been pogroms and expulsions throughout Jewish history - I only provided a tiny summary in response to a commentator! It is always great to see more detail. :)

Culture for All : The HISTORY of antisemitism

Hi John! Thanks for replying! And yes, what you just wrote is correct. And it also happens to debunk the claim that Islamists make about Islamic banking - namely, that it is economically feasible to not charge interest. It is not economically feasible, and in fact there never has been a successful banning of interest!

Culture for All : The Real Gandhi

Hi Nazli! I am glad you stopped by, and I hope that you like the layout of the site. Indeed, the truth about Gandhi is not the same as that which we have been taught. I do not believe pacifism is the answer, regardless. And yes, Iranians are not Arabs! That is one thing Iranians really pride themselves on, their unique Iranian culture. I just wish the modern Iran were more Iranian!
