As a Certified Addiction Counselor in Michigan for the past 20 years I can tell you that the cost of addiction to our society is enormous. Admittedly, not every marijuana user has problems, but many do. At West Brook Recovery Center I have seen how they often lose their jobs and require costly treatment. I suspect that those costs would outweigh the supposed tax benefits.
