Was doing some internet stuff... and came across this. It reminds me of this administrations game plan. I heard Obama say the other day that we are just getting TOO MUCH information...and it's causing problems. I listened to a Herman Cain video (He's the man I want for president!!...check him out... AWESOME) ... anyway... HE says... STAY INFORMED...we must keep information flowing to each other, and we must make sure we understand the facts, and BE INFORMED... in other words... there's never ENOUGH information for us. ... and then I read the following.... and it just "hit me" ... I could be wrong... maybe. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." --Joseph Goebbels (Hitler's Propaganda Minister

They don't think past "feelings". Everything is based on how they "feel". Therefore, they are manipulated easily. Have you ever noticed how liberals always have a sad sad story to tell about some unfortunate person when they want to push people toward their view? They go for the emotions. They want decisions made according to "feelings" - instead of facts that might help one understand their choices. A wise conservative once said, (Dr. Joyce) -- Once the choices are made clear to the people, then we will always choose self-evident truth and civic virtue over the bribes of the progressive elites, no matter how generous the social services or seductive the self-liberation. The only time we seem to choose otherwise is when the choices are not made clear to us - when among the many selves created by a progressive presidential candidate is a self, created just in time for the election, who appears to stand precisely for these traditional American principles. I believe he rightly describes Obama. People who voted for him REALLY don't want to be wrong about this guy, (how could they handle those feelings?) He knows he doesn't have to tell them the truth - just make them "feel" good, "feel" right. He knows as long as he creates a "self" who "looks like" he stands for traditional American principles, he'll continue to appeal to the emotions of those who are not clear on the facts, therefore unclear about their choices. It's why he used a motherless young boy as a prop when he signed the HC bill. That little boy visually represented Obama's "goodness", compassion and his justification for everything he's done. (so it's okay that the process was ugly) How could we possibly be against such a man? Do we have no feelings? Yes, we do, but many of us want our choices made clear. It's a must, or we are in danger of believing in the progressive bribes and seductive manipulations. For some, facts are not "a must"... as long as they feel good.

Well, probably a little further than that but we're close! I go down 277th to get in to Auburn. You're Navy? ... My dad was Navy. He retired a CPO. He passed away this past September . Part of his service was full military honors at Tahoma National. What an amazing and wonderful tribute that ceremony is. The whistle, the salute. the reading of "Old Glory", a poem (as I am sure you know) where our Flag speaks to us. I never knew that existed before. And, when they presented the flag to my mother,... it took my breath away. Thank you for your service. All of our Service men make me extremely proud to be an American.

Dear Cookie: The fact you could care less about the "real meat" of the health care bill speaks volumes. The Democrats rely on people just like you. Here's some advice to you based on the "meat'; If you actually work, and pay taxes, start now preparing to live your life on a smaller paycheck. It's the very next thing you must make sure to do after celebrating. Unfortunately for those like you, victory is merely defeating conservatives and enjoying a moment of hilarity. You're quite a cheap date for the democrats. Laugh while you can because when the "meat" kicks in - and soon - the tax man will have the last laugh at your expense.

Hi there.... I've always thought one gets their "Jewish" heritage from the mother's side. However, I'm sure Hitler would not want to admit either of his parents were of Jewish decent.

I'm not suggesting people should not vote for Hoffman. I saw him on Hannity -- I liked him. I can tell he's honest, (as well as anyone can really tell) -- I can just see that long time republicans such as Newt -- will have to go through a process to figure out the change that is going on in this country. The change is good. I agree with Beck... whether they are Dem or Repub or a 3rd party candidate -- if they share our principles and values (honestly) ... then what is behind their name should not matter. We want RE-founders no matter what party. There's a learning curve for R's and D's... but there is also a learning curve for us.... I am just paying attention to what is being said, and reactions...etc -- and discussing them with people I feel I can trust to discuss them with ...and that would be people who are here.

I'm hearing that part of the concern is that Hoffman is getting most of his funds from people out of the district in which he is running -- it sounds all complicated -- like politics is.... I'd like to really take note of what happens at that election, to see what we can learn from it. We can learn from what happens there. I'm just hoping the democrat does not win. -- he's the most far left of them all.

912 Communique : Vent

I listened to him tonight, and basically, he pointed out that she is fiscally conservative (not socially) and that Hoffman doesn't live in their district. He said they had 4 Republican meetings -- (guess where they choose their candidates) and she kept winning the number 1 spot and Hoffman didn't ever place in the top 3. The state is very blue -- and to get a "moderate to liberal" republican, seems like the best they can hope for. Since I do not even live in that state, I don't have a clue about their "politics" -- but that's what I heard on Greta V. "On The Record". I guess, it's best to watch that yourself, in case I misunderstood anything.

Yeah! I was totally inspired when he accused white environmentalists of poisoning people of color, and spraying poison on immigrant agriculture workers. I raised my arm in salute when he insisted this nation give all the wealth to Native Americans as well as pay reparations for the past sins of slavery. yeah...until this 911 truther thing... he was quite inspiring! Didn't seem like he was too in love with conspiracies until then! ....what a piece of work that guy is.

I asked myself that too. I sometimes think commentators/analysts don't really believe Marxist agendas can actually succeed. They don't seem to take that sort of thing as seriously as accusing a President and his administration of murdering their own people. Charles Krauthammer wasn't as concerned with Van Jones considering himself a communist. The 911 Truther thing he saw differently. Like you, I think everything Van Jones has said is dangerous. I found myself saying, "well, whatever it takes for you to see he's got to go...at this point, I'll take it."

He's dangerous no matter where he is, but I will be thrilled if he is removed. Like someone else said, our government sees we are paying attention. They are shocked that we are - they hope we do not. (because that's been the "norm"). I think he's less dangerous OUT. He will not be in control of implementing Cap and Tax for instance. Whoever replaces him -- Obama, if smart, has to consider the fact -- we are not all "sheep". We'll vet his appointments - counting on ourselves - not government. That guy will always be dangerous - but he's out in the light now. It's up to us to keep him there.
