He has called lockdown sceptics dangerous, and included the likes of Telegraph columnist Allison Pearson's sensible investigation of the government's Covid response. O'Brien is the dangerous one to try to stifle debate.

Does also he not recognize the same tactics were levelled at Brexiteers like him (risking war and economic crash, crazy, can't understand data etc)?

I have trouble with using Theresa May as a truthful model. I thought she deceived the country, the party, and her ministers working on Brexit in the run up to the Chequers meeting. It seemed she was working in a secret plan totally different to what the public and David Davis were told. I was surprised and disgusted to learn of this two faced betrayal by her.
So it does seem to be the case that all politicians lie, even those you imagine are the most upright. Maybe it is necessary to obfuscate at best to escape swampy traps like the withdrawal agreement?

There are many eminent Tory MPs who are somewhat sceptical of lockdowns, such Sir Graham Brady, Sir John Redwood and IDS, plus some on the payroll keeping quiet.

Does he insist they should not question policy as well as the many eminent scientists supporting the Great Barrington Declaration?

I thought some EU states were threatened with legal action by the EU for negotiating for vaccines?

I agree keep the courts away from trade deals.

It was similar with a petition circulated to force our food standards to be the same as the EU's "or higher". This was of course in that case an attempt by Remainers to force the government into a bad EU deal, with judges interfering with the deal.

I think we should look again at China's WTO membership. They didn't meet the criteria for entry and still do not, as they are not democratic, do not float their currency and do not allow free investment without partners.

There's lots of circumstantial evidence the leak came from the lab (the actual evidence having been removed by the authorities).

The most important being the start of the pandemic just a few miles from China's only level 4 biosecure Wuhan Institute of Virology, which was working on "gain of function" engineered virus transmission on bat corona viruses to get mice infected more easily. Workers there got sick last the autumn according to US officials.

The bats in question being native 1000km away and not apparently sold in the wet market.
