I think his performance was too provocative for network TV, but I think the real issue everyone is missing is why do singers have to do shocking things to get attention other than just sing. Probably because most of them lack the talent. I guess Mr. Lambert is going for shock value over how he can really sing. I mean really if Freddie Mercury is you idol don't you want to sing well first and than put on a good show!!! Freddie was the best!!!!
