Google Android Blog : m:IQ is "Mobile Me for Android." Backup and migrate content with ease

The site opens on the device (Android HTC Desire) but shows no download link at all. On PC the same link provides download access for all versions except Android. Where is the Android client? Also, why not just provide a QR code?!

Google Android Blog : Meet "Alex" the Android-based, multimedia-centric e-book reader

The design is horrible. I have considered something like this in the past, but I have found that the addition of color screen and multimedia functionality actually DISTRACTS from the reading experience. It's the same as reading a book while the TV is running and you're supposed to watch both at the same time. Progress in multimedia delivery has shown us that any multimedia in color will beat reading on a grey screen... and now we get both together, fighting for attention. This is probably the one e-Book reader that people won't read too much on it.

Google Android Blog : Android Market has 10,000 apps, many of which don't appeal to users

I guess missing a worldwide release will spike Android app piracy to the point where it cannot be reserved and squashed. Your Robo Defence may be somewhere there as a apk'z ;)

Google Android Blog : How to hide non-music audio files from appearing in Android media players

Maybe make it optional to show non-media extension files, with default being not showing them. It'd be right for casual users not make them browse non-media files, but powerusers can do it.

I am quite disappointed why Android is so crude to allow non-media files to appear in media player. This is trivial to code into the application (filtered file open dialog by formats) that I am puzzled they haven't done that by default.

android-unleashed.com : Motorola Morrison Getting Clearer - Specs Discovered

I am utterly disappointed by the Motorola entry in Android world. It seems like they are positioning themselves in between HTC Magic and HTC Hero. To me, Motorola isn't gonna win me over from HTC Hero. Even Blur OS doesn't show its promise yet, and will need wider adoption before we start coding all widgets in HTML/JS

android-unleashed.com : Motorola Morrison specs – Next T-Mobile Android phone

Motorola did it again. It had an opportunity to create a powerful Android smartphone that puts it in the headlight of the Android revolution. Instead they made something in between HTC Magc and HTC Hero. Let's see how crappy Blur OS Shell will be and forget Motorola ever existed.
