I have considered something like this in the past, but I have found that the addition of color screen and multimedia functionality actually DISTRACTS from the reading experience. It's the same as reading a book while the TV is running and you're supposed to watch both at the same time. Progress in multimedia delivery has shown us that any multimedia in color will beat reading on a grey screen... and now we get both together, fighting for attention. This is probably the one e-Book reader that people won't read too much on it.
