Everyone who comments that all we want is an EIR, should realise that even with a full blown E.I.R. the opponents could have sued and very well may have, for the inadequasy of the E.I.R. The same judge Michael Kinney recently ruled that a CAL TRANS EIR. for a Hwy 16 safety improvement project was inadequate. Koppel went judge shopping of course and hit the jackpot. The only way to stop this nonsense is to change the law.

EMassa twice uses the word "descented" in his comments. He probably meant to write dissented. Could this be prima- facie evidence that a course in remedial spelling should be offered by GCOE. A skunk sometimes is descented, but that has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

Saint-Evens and his wife, Trish Saint-Evens want more zoning for higher income residents .well of course once you get past low income residents everything else is by default higher income. Maybe this is just a code word for something else. Only they would know.
