I guess all the area hotels, restaurants, shops, cabs, etc. with thousands of employees and all the millions of people that attend the games year in year out ( from all over the NW, Alaska & Canada) spending $$$ and of course, paying B&O and sales tax do not count for anything. I am sure the business owners around Queen Anne are glad those pesky Sonics are gone.

Let's cut to the chase and really reduce spending by taking a good hard look at where the real money is spent: Defense, Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security. Privatize them all, Blackwater is a start, Group Health for the Elderly and the AIG retirement plan. No more tax cuts for the wealthy. Open market the whole shebang this will cut the deficit like no other method. If you want to really do it this, this is the only way to affect real change. Are you ready?
