After seeing that applied to any other artist, I wouldn't waste my time looking for the CD, but what the heck - I'm both a country fan and a glutton for punishment. :D

Parcbench : Shirley Sherrod: I Don't Want To Help White People (VIDEO)

24 year old event? Yes. Was it about playing the whole video? No. This was about how the NAACP and - to a much lesser extent - Shirley herself handled issues that should have been serious. The memories connected to the event of her father's murder, and the road her life took as a result, aren't things I'd imagine people smile . . . laugh . . . or roll their eyes to the audience over. It said a lot about the both of them, but I never suggested anything other than what it "sounded like."

Parcbench : The Fifth "Final Destination" Film is Titled What?

Dave, I don't think you got any of that. He didn't claim to review any of the movies. This is just poking fun at the numbering scheme of a franchise that has the word "Final" in its title. If anything, your response just illustrated exactly why going with the word "Final" to describe something that lets the viewer know "It is not over" at the end of each of its multiple entries is a bad idea. A REALLY bad idea. (PS: How many of the Friday the 13th movies, excepting the one subtitled "The Final Chapter," explicitly told the viewer that they were in fact the last?)

Parcbench : Maddow Calls Potential GOP Majority a Result of "Buyer's Remorse"

Jack, what "conservative media?" Would you care to explain why you think the most liberally biased arm of propaganda in America today veers to the right -- without the insults and MSNBC-issue blinders, please? You can't seriously say Obama holds no blame for the border still remaining insecure. He has thrown this country into a well of debt deeper than anything Bush could have managed. He's emasculated the military; made America into the laughing stock of the world; destroyed its relations with its allies; run roughshod over the Constitution; and turned this country into something patently unlike the principles on which it was founded. James Madison must be rolling over in his grave. What do you take us for?

Parcbench : Adam Lambert Is No Miley, No Matter How Much He'd Like To Be

Did you read what I said about Adam's intent? Or about choke collars - which are definitely not prime time viewing material? No - you just fixated right in on the part you wanted to see. Your attempt at appealing to the novelty of the situation doesn't impress me either. Why should I care what year it is? That doesn't excuse Adam from his past conduct. So Rihanna proved she can "sing about some guys dick," big deal! Chris Brown proved he could beat the hell out of Rihanna too, does that mean it should be done? NO.
