If a� church body doesn't have a pastor, (or elder) ... I would wonder if it is really a church.

In this case, if there is no eldership, then I would encourage you to find a church that has a governing body. Without an elder team to help protect the people from issues that can easily invade the church, it's like having a hole in the armor.

This isn't to say that a group couldn't lead itself, it just doesn't seem to be in a way that God had modeled with the early church.

I dig the board games ... particularly the geeky ones. I even tried to get a newer game that looks like the one you linked to, so the girls would play with me, but ... they didn't like it that much. I used to play racquetball too , that was fun ... but years ago. Every year or so I open up my baseball card collection and deposit some more cards into it. Then lock it up for safe keeping for another year.

Thanks Kim ... I have often thought about doing some kind of martial arts, but the cost always holds me back. Mostly, besides the fitness aspect, I would love the competition. :)

Sounds like all fun games! Settlers is what got me into the new realm of "Eurogames" and now the pile of games has grown big. Candy land doesn't count though - but if there were real candy in the game ... totally different. I have heard of container and it sounded fun to play. Risk is the bomb.
