Paul McCartney's new album ( Kisses on the Bottom) is great--I usually hate when artists try to go old school because most of them either end up trying to imitate Frank Sinatra, or just warble the words. He sounds great, and wrote a couple of songs for the album, which are some of the best wrting he's done in years. Also, as an American actor, there would be a lot of interest in him, and most of the people were friendly. As a blonde woman, I was practically mobbed at times in a few of the smaller cities where it was unusual to see blondes and wouldn't travel anywhere without an American male. I'll never forget when I went to a town in Eastern Turkey right after Sadaam invaded Kuwait, and a lot of the TUrks were fearful, Everyone was so happy that George H W Bush was president, they knew that somehting was gonna be one.
