Defiant grief in the face of evil. Eagerness for freedom in the face of boorish mental shackles.Enlightenment in the face of medieval darkness. Vive la freedom. Vive la France. Vive the world.

That is political nonsense from a shady politician seeking to embellish his tattered reputation by supporting a cause favoured by muslims. Anyone with the most basic interest in the history of this piece of land at the junction of africa, asia and europe would quickly find the place soaked in the blood of those fighting for military and political dominance of the region since the dawn of history. The whole of south america, the whole of africa and china also colonised. How come no terrorism?

In the interest of frustrating these talibans, maybe thousands of malaysians individually download and photocopy thousand copies, It is an unjust action. That was what Mahatma Ghandhi did. When the Brits impose salt tax on Indians, he led the Indians to make salt from sea water. The law forbidding salt making was shown to be so ridiculous that ultimately, the British authority to govern India collapse. This law forbidding non-muslims from using the word allah is so ridiculous the rest of the world is already snickering at umno.

With this problem coming up everywhere, it means our government don't govern wisely. It has full mandate to show us what it can do. It has full powers to institute disciplinary measures, including sacking for those civil servants involved and those in administrative responsibility of these civil loose cannons. The buck stops with the Education Minister and the PM. They don't know what to do. With such an incompetent bunch in charge, the East Malaysians should know what to do since they are the ones chiefly responsible why these losers are still the government. They are BNs fixed deposits.

This is quite a high quality debate on two belief systems - christianity vs atheism. I was just put off by the main motive for the author disavowing christianity - that it is sexist bcos wives are supposed to submit. The biblical mindset is right for good decision making. My friend gave me the same advice as a successful illiterate businessman with no notion of christianity. Secondly, coming up with a few objections to the 5 ARGUMENTS,originally Thomas Aquinas' proofs for the existence of God hardly prove that there is no God. In fact, to have full faith that there is no God require even more faith than to believe there is a God. but atheism is a reactionary belief system to the belief in a God. In fact, atheism, as a belief system was so untenable that, although it evolved independently both in Ionia in the pre-Grecian civilization and the Indian sub-continent, they were so unviable they barely survive when matched against theism. Theism, on the other hand, was so successful it develop into so many variants in both places. In fact, Antony Flew, for so many decades the doyen of atheism, not so long ago disavowed atheism.

In the mid 1980's, you hike the car tax overnight. Almost overnight, the car prices roughly doubled. I wonder why now you are so facetious. Now, those chosen few given AP's enriching themselves sucking money still don't want to let go. You were the architect of that scam.

Good write. Just a bit put off by the fact that the motive to repudiate christianity is that it is sexist. When i was dating, i was idealistic enough to give my fiancee equal say. After 30 yrs of marriage, i wish i make this the basis of daily life. A successful illiterate businessman friend gave me a similiar advice and he dont have the slightest notion of christian beliefs. Wives like to backseat drive a man's life but it is never their fault when things go wrong. I heartily wish i had heeded pauls idea. Secondly, posing a few objections to the 5 arguments for the existence of god, originally thomas aquinas' proofs hardly justify trusting a full faith in atheism. Between a faith in the existence of a god and a faith that there is definitely no god, it is harder to bet your life that there is definitely no god. History borned that fact. Atheism as a belief system arose simultaneously as theism in the early Greek era in Ionia as well as in India. In the clash of ideas, atheism was mostly unsuccessful.

Sigh. This was the age-old trick used in egypt, in pakistan, in middle east by muslim carpetbaggers to get valuable properties. Deface a few pages of koran and throw into the house of the owner, then lead a crazed mob to lynch and murder the whole family and then seize their properties. It just reflects the hypocrisy of the parties involved in the selangor bible saga. The double standard and the absence of mutual respect for the belief systems of others.

The responsibility for this terrorism of young hearts and minds is to be traced all the way up to the actual architects - the BN political leaders who need a lot of excuses to curry majority support while they steal the country blind. And the majority is too stupid to seek the truth.

Wow! If the Bible is so feared by these people, there must be wonderful stuff. So much effort put in to suppress it. I better put in more effort to read it before they ban it.
