So, my company is too small to benefit from this yet all of us employees would have to pay into this. I think not! I'm tired of paying for others as it is!!!

That's special, but you know as well as I do that the overwhelming majority will use plastic.

And the worms ate into her brain.
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.

We started using biobags a few years ago for trash and compost. Since then, the size, design and availability have changed so many times we had to buy new trash cans to fit them. Guess where the old useless cans went. Landfill. Great outcome isn't it?

And those new bags you will be buying will end up in the trash at some point too. Great plan huh?
If this is all about plastic bags ending up in the trash, what are trash bags made of? Um,,,,,,,, let me think,,,,,

I was thinking the same thing about the re-usable bags. I've read reports about people getting really sick from them. And you can't wash them. Well, you can, but it makes them really week, limp and deformed. When we buy meats we always have them put it in plastic bags before putting it in a re-usable.
Glad I don't live in Seattle, but I'm sure the trend will spread, just like the germs and bacteria in an old re-usable.

But if you refuse to pay the "tax" (really a fine no matter what scotus say's) nothing will happen, so deadbeats will still be deadbeats.

I agree completely. Too often people get tunnel vision on issues ignoring the other problems. What is the real difference between driving drunk, playing with your stereo, putting on makeup or reading a book while driving when the end result is killing someone else?
