How do you know they weren't going to a call without their lights on? You don't. Do you want to cops to park 2 blocks away to get their coffee and then not be near their car if a big call comes out? Hmmmm

What do you think WSP611 stands for? KCSO? Maybe WSP.

Not the same are pre written dui reports. SPD has a policy that all arrests have to be screened by a sgt. Most departments don't have to do that. SPD policy may have been broken but that's it. It would be the same as if the officer making the arrest didn't have a proper uniform on. Policy violation that has nothing to do with the arrest.

Get enough tickets and maybe they'll pull their heads from their a@#$% and quit driving like an idiot and running red lights. Probably not. My kids school has a speed camera and I'm all for it. I can guarantee I'll never get a ticket there. I don't speed through there.

It's much better to get hit from behind at a light than be involved in a t-bone collision. Lot less injuries. The driver behind should always be able to avoid running into the back of you. If they can't, they either are following too close or not paying attention. Bring on the red light cameras.

What if they had shot him in the leg to just wound him and he bled out? Then what? Maybe they should only aim for the fingers and toes. Or the ear. Even better, only take warning shots.

So should police only use knives on suspects with knives? If the suspect has a rock the police should just throw rocks at him. You do know that knives can kill don't you? Life isn't fair. Police shouldn't have to make sure they're in a fair fight. Get a clue.

You win. It took long enough to blame the police.
