I have blog abandonment issues also. I should try your method and weed out those I gloss over. Like the ones full of meme's but no real reviews etc. I also get a lot of the links via twitter. I am glad you are enjoying your staycation.

I hope it cools down some too. Usually in the summer I go outside to read but with this heat I feel like I am cooped up inside. It feels like cabin fever.
