Wouldn't that be interesting! I think his description is more accurate. Christ accepts us and we get to share in that. Saying the opposite, that we accept Christ, may give a good feeling to those who are in the free-will camp, which is okay. But our acceptance really isn't the issue. The issue is being accepted by God, which is what the cross is all about!
