Mokuren Dojo - Aikido, Judo, Karate : The cost of martial arts classes

You might be right that some schools are charging a lot and there might be scams; but I don't think it makes sense to give an absolute value to the price of classes. Economies vary from place to place so some places are more expensive than others and also the price of martial art lessons are not set on their value but on the offer and demand. Some places have way too many dojos and have do drop prices, others are alone or in a niche and can keep higher prices. I don't think the quality of the lessons play any role in the price unfortunately. What I really dislike about martial arts in Zürich, where I live, is that the minimun *contract* is for three months. In some schools 6 months, so you have to pay it all together. Most let you try it out first though.

Feld Thoughts : Universal Videoconferencing

I left my hometown about three years ago and videoconferencing with my parents is great. I connect the 30" TV to my computer and put Skype full screen on it with the camera on top. We literally have dinner together from time to time and we spent Christmas and New Years celebrating together in this fashion. They put a computer with a camera in one end of the table and I do the same on this side.

Feld Thoughts : The Founders Visa Movement

If I understand correctly, those are for investors, people who have money and want to invest it. The founder's visa is for people with no money, wanting to start something, that gets someone else to invest on it.

I would consult an immigration attorney in Florida, they know all about gaming the system.

That's for investors, not founders. People putting the money for others and maybe they to work, not people getting the money to work. Furthermore, if I remember correctly the 500k is only for certain markets, for the rest is 1m.
