Okay, this is happening in my house tomorrow for lunch and i'm going to follow the direction to just eat them off the tray, eat the whole lot up. Holy god, this sounds amazing.

(And healthier than my vague plan to just drive toward takeaway food and see what happens..? It's been Need To Do Shopping day for about a week. O.o)

Oh! Sweet potato, how I love thee. I'm the actual worst, most worryingly bad cook (i've been banned from kitchens before) and I found this recipe that's so easy and so crazy-delicious that sweet potato is one of the very few vegetables that doesn't tend to wither horribly in my crisper.

I feel like it's my duty to give it to you, both out of Toast-love and also, seriously, these are crack levels of addictive and so easy to make. Just slice 'em, boil for a while while you get distracted on your RSS feed, smash' em, throw some herbs on, chuck them in the oven, then EAT THEM ALL YOURSELF, DON'T SHARE*. (*It me.)

My second container of aspirational cherry tomatoes (I DID eat the first, let me console myself and my dreams of Adulting Good with that) sits in the fridge even now, sitting directly on the cusp of 'I could still eat those?' and 'Uh, they have tiny little black spots now, I cannot, sir, I WILL not!'

And my family block of Cadbury's Caramello chocolate, bought at the same time, has one row left.

I feel like you KNOW me.

I need that roadtrip fic in my life, AND I cosign your roadtrip brOT3 movie idea. In fact, i'm enthusiastic about and invested in just about any marvel OT3 ideas they wanna film, BrO or otherwise. Tony/Pepper/Bruce excepted*

Sam/Steve/Natasha or Bucky/Steve/Darcy, though? PERFECTION.

(*No idea why, this one just feels wrong to me. )

Okay, sorry, that was brief, but that was a rollercoaster of seeing your tweet and thinking 'Surely not..?' and then finding it to be 'Yes, actually!', then finding after reading this post that i'm happy for you guys? And kind of excited that you'll have more time and freedom to get out there and do even more cool stuff, that I will then get to see.

This site has been a boon and a beacon. LOVE TO YOU ALL.

'spun outrageous stories she somehow believed'

Oh man, this is a quality to be treasured and occasionally baffled by, high five Toni. My grandpa (grandpa's: surely they are creatures with twice the normal power of daddery. A dad-dad's worth, if you will) totally convinced me when I was a kid that we had pirates in our ancestry, specifically a rake by the name of Captain Blood.

When I saw the Errol Flynn movie pop up on TCM one day when I was an adult, rather than assume my grandpa had been fucking with me for basically my whole life, precious naive summer flower me thought 'Oh! This must be based on our ancestor, he must have been quite famous!'

Man, I was a dumbass. My grandpa must have cackled himself silly.

Emily Blunt. She has a cool, sharp, wry delivery that pops out now and then and it's exactly as I hear Harriet in my head.
