Every election, it's the same thing! I "THINK" people are fed up and what happens: like with Jack Murtha, he gets voted back in! It just doesn't make sense. We get insulted and still, PA puts Obama in! I don't know how to say this, but for the most part, I think they get elected because people vote who don't REALLY know "about" the candidates. For the life of me, I'm still trying to figure out "how" Obama could have gotten in -- if you had actually read up on everything AND kept an open mind. He is giving us exactly what he said he would do! And then Spector goes right along with him and now he gives us this little tidbit just because he sees people are waking up --- I can only hope it's too little, too late! However, I would venture to say that I think history will show Mr. Bush to be a great president for what he did for Iraq (and, of course, our security here at home) and it's only the left and the media that have so many people thinking otherwise in that regard. When Obama was elected, I hoped for the best. You said in your world you actually paid something back you borrowed, which certainly keeps within this site's principles. I think that is what has so many of us angry. In their campaigns for president, they kept saying our government is broken! Well, yes it is....but they are not fixing it....it's getting worse and it frustrates me so much that people still think Obama is going to save us all. Give me a break!
