Well that's how the internet works these days. It's all about narrative management. I remember Google initially trying to disappear the Gt Barrington declaration under "Fact Checkers" and "Debunkers". It's how they work. (not that I'm saying that the links you have posted are incorrect but one is penned by a student and no-one will put their name to the other one. Whereas Yeadon's credentials are public and spectacular by comparison. Tbh my mate down the pub has much better credentials than this) But at the end of the day there simply isn't the body count to justify government policy. They are recording "Deaths with covid" knowing they will be interpreted as deaths from covid and they are inappropriately using a test with a high level of false positives and calling them "cases". This is self evident BS. If they weren't up to no good they wouldn't behave this way. It's walking like a duck and it's quacking...

Add to scenario 2, the country driven into a level of debt that will take decades to climb out of and will be paid for by our children who are practically immune to the virus anyway. I don't think they'll thank the Tory Party when they get the bill for this.

There clearly are contrary issues here to be considered. Dr Craig is very far from alone in this, there is the Gt Barrington Declaration.. https://gbdeclaration.org/ Currently 12,422 medical & public health scientists and 36,711 medical practitioners. All saying basically what Clare Craig is saying very effectively in a UK context. You could go and piece all this together yourself to get a handle on the scientific/medical arguments against current government policy. But why would you when she's done it for us and you can get a handle on it in about an hour. That's why I posted her link.

If they don't keep us in lockdown so we can be "saved" by a dubious vaccine, the public will see that the pandemic is over and Boris will be finished. This is political and Starmer and the media know it will finish the Johnson government. No doubt the civil service understands this too. As for my flippancy, UK governments will and do consign thousands of people to death and mutilation for their economic ends. Consider most of our wars throughout our history. If you think the government aren't making cost/benefit calculations you are too naive to be posting on conhome with the grownups. As for "let it swamp the NHS and people die in their hundreds of thousands", that's pure straw man stuff. No-one ever advocated that because it is a stupid notion. If you notice, what I advocated was a change in policy to a rational testing regime, ie towards a regime that doesn't produce a pandemic where there isn't one. Absolutely no risk involved in that from either a political or public health standpoint. The media and opposition can't "demand" misleading testing because they want a pandemic panic. Also stop recording deaths WITH covid and only record deaths FROM covid and then maybe people will be less hysterical. People are having their fear buttons well and truly pushed. I have read that the Pfizer vaccine will only last about 90 days. Natural immunity will last for 17 years and probably for life (based on SarsCov1)

But it's not Ebola. If covid was statistically a seriously dangerous virus we would behave differently towards it. But it isn't. We know this now because millions of people in the UK have had covid and there isn't a sufficient pile of bodies to vindicate the government and media propaganda.

There is a lot of convincing evidence to suggest otherwise. But introducing a rational testing regime will not impact bed occupancy, it will tell us what is actually happening in reality - ie outside the world of barmy computer modelling and politically motivated panic mongering. It would be the end of Boris, Whitty and Vallance though. So they'll hold out for as long as they can.

No-one is and it's not going to. The 450,000 deaths in a fortnight was just made up BS. If the government introduced a rational testing regime the "pandemic" would simply go away. There is no risk involved in doing this. It cannot cause the NHS to be overwhelmed.

Exactly like the flu that has strangely disappeared. Covid kills people, obviously, but we live with risk all the time. It's normal. What is not normal is this insane fear response. If you've got an hour I suggest you play the video I posted below. It's a rationally grounded appraisal of where we are and the situation really is not that bad. It's being magnified for political reasons.

My dad has damaged lungs and my mum has heart failure. Covid is kicking down the creaking gates like seasonal flu does. Are these people more important than the people with other ailments that the NHS is currently failing? Shutting down society, destroying the economy and locking everyone under house arrest is an insane response to the way the world works.

Calm down Grandpa. The danger is actually very small. My 92 and 96yo parents have just had covid and mum sang through it from her armchair and dad had a day in bed. That's it. They are now immune. No need for a dodgy vaccine.
