I did an internship at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. When I was speaking with a social worker there she said that the great thing about working there was that they could pretty much tell insurance companies to "bite me" if they refused to cover certain, needful procedures.

This is because a large part of PCMC is funded on CHARITY. There are deveral donation camapigns run each year, and with that money the hospital can give each child the care that they need rather than the care the insurance dictates.

Though we do not want ANY form of a universal Health care, Bill O'Reilly said that we still need to do SOMETHING about health care and I agree. The government should take their noses out of the picture and let THE PEOPLE create their own charities to help those in medical need. Just a thought....
