I can't believe the posts here. You guys have NO evidence of anything, and I only saw one person lending their condolences and then said something negative at the end of the sentence. Don't just ASSUME. I was driving down Union at 3 in the morning a few summers ago and my car got shot at. I was in the area, an innocent bystander, caught in the crossfire. You guys are seriously a**holes. Someone is dead and you guys are like vulchers. Disgusting, really.

You all say how we need to delve into the idea of hunger and that's the purpose of this...well $210 a month I could get by VERY healthy, VERY full and NO complaints! These people are getting free food and selling their stamps it's BS! They're not hungry! THEY ARE NOT HUNGRY! This experiment is moot. Sorry if this offends the few who are on stamps and actually NEED them, but I know it's slim to none. Makes my blood boil.
I'm sorry. I hate this experiment for a way different reason. I understand completely where the reporter is coming from and I think it's wrong for everyone to be criticizing so harshly. I, for one, am against all the public assistance that is given out so willy nilly. $7 a day per person per month. Ok, that's about $210 a month. Everyone I know on food stamps, and I mean EVERYONE...SELLS THEIR FREAKING STAMPS!!! I actually went to the dshs office to apply for pregnancy medical last year (I actually work and am on NO assistance, no WIC, no stamps, no NOTHING, all I wanted was medical for my child for a year and then he will be transferred to mine) and I heard multiple people in line talking about selling their stamps. It pissed me off so bad because this is what we are all paying taxes for.
Yeah, who the hell said it's a "Muslim thing" to do that? The Quran states NOWHERE that practices like this are Muslim. People don't seem to be able to see the difference between real Muslims and people claiming to be Muslims, acting out and blaming their BS on Allah or the Quran.

I agree with you Hobart, and what really bothers me, is not that so many people here are FOR the death penalty...but how they are almost excited about it and make jokes about it. Ok, I get it...he killed someone, now he's going to be killed...but I don't think it's funny at all that someone is going to lose their life again. The judge is punishing him for killing someone. But then the judge turns around and sentences him to death...what's so different??
