The answer is absolutely yes, I am certain that some of the accidents were caused by a cage that did something foolish and did not see the bike and the bike lost control as a result. Does this alleviate the biker's responsbility, absolutely not. I have to ride everyday, and I do, paying attention to the cagers that are reading their letters, newspapers, and yes even magazines on the freeway while driving. Just as good is talking on their cell phones which is against the law, just because they cannot pull you over for it does not make any less illegal. We need a crackdown on inattentive drivers more than anything. So put the cell phone, I-Pod, Magazine, Curling Iron, Mascarra, Breakfast Sandwich, and other junk away and drive.
