thanks again, Ken, for being an American who has learned from history and refuses to repeat the same mistakes over and over and over, again.

too many Americans refuse to use the examples of history when making decisions regarding the present. people need to understand that criminalizing marijuana is not a viable solution to society's problems. it merely reduces competition to the big drug and alcohol companies, while it provides law enforcement with a major source of revenue.

none of it makes sense. i used to live in S. Lake Tahoe (15 yrs.). Emerald Bay is the last place that they would want to make an emergency manuever. there is no room for helicopters to practice anything, let alone do what they did. it was a great video, though. i want to go back to Tahoe.

it deffinitely looks like an accident, only if it were normal for two military helicopters to be hovering over Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe. I lived in S. Lake Tahoe for 15 years and never heard of helicopters doing this sort of thing. i must admit, though, that tourist filmed some great footage.

i feel sorry for the pilots because they could have been less obvious by trying this in a Las Vegas casino outdoor fountain.

the authorities have no problem storming a home, frightening the children, and killing their dog because there might be a little weed in the house. those same authorities even tell little white lies when can't find any weed in that homeowner's house.
i hope that the old Texan maintains his rebel attitude. the authorities are corrupt. god help him if the helicopters locate a marijuana plant on his property.

this is obviously a Republican dominated discussion, but i like to read the comments, anyway. personally, i am very disappointed in both the Republicans and Democrats in our government. both parties have very poor ethics, fail to listen to their constituents, keep us in ongoing wars that drain taxpayer dollars, and they make deals with big businesses behind closed doors. there is very little honesty, oversight, and transparency in a government that is supposed to represent Americans (and, according to the Supreme Court, a corporation is now a person......how corrupt is that?)

i still say that a homeowner armed with a gun, and knowledgeable of current gun laws, is a very effective deterrent. but, as the law states, the homeowner can't shoot an escaping burglar because that person no longer is an immediate threat to the homeowner.

hmmmmm? new revenue without increasing existing taxes (substantial new revenue, at that.)? well, since many people are already smoking marijuana, anyway. why not legalize, regulate, and tax marijuana. now that was a real difficult one to figure out.

this is a DEREGULATION disaster. how many American deaths does it take to get our American Government off of fossil fuels and off of oil company subsistence (in this case, the subsistence is a two-way street.)????????????
