The most memorable person to me is my Dad. He was always a hard-worker and he was a great provider. He was caring, generous and so humble. He used to work at a stable taking care of horses and during the summer when we were out of school we would go take him lunch, visit him and help out around the stable. I remember him bringing home watermelons and sitting on the back of his tailgate to eat it. He would also cut down a Christmas tree for us every year from the fields near the stables. He loved holidays especially Halloween, Easter and Christmas. He couldn't wait to hand out candy, do Easter egg hunts and give out gifts. My Dad passed away on January 22, 2007 and things have never been the same. He missed out on the births of my twin grandsons and my granddaughter and how I wish he was here to share in these new memories and to have them experience the love that he offered unconditionally. To any person who still has their Dad around cherish those moments and love them back with all you have to offer because once they are gone you can never get that back. Make time for them and show them how much they mean to you. That's all that matters in the end.
