Definitely. Today for example. I found out about a book, When She Woke by Hillary Jordan, on Twitter. Fell in love with the book and won the book in only about a 20 minute span. I felt pretty amazing.

http://poseysessions.blogspot.com/ : Most Exciting Author at Teen Book Fest

I had such a great time at Teen Book Fest in October. I hope to get more posts up about it soon. I don't think it will be on NetGalley since it is published by Simon and Schuster. I am wondering if there is a chance it may show up on Galley Grab? I am seeing Elana again in a few days and I am hoping I will get to hear her talk about her book some. I will have way too much to blog about that experience too. Who knows when I will get all the posts done. Thanks for your comment.

Thank you very much for you comment. It has just occurred to me that maybe I should have included a link to my review of The Declaration somewhere in the post. Here is the link now for you http://poseysessions.blogspot.com/2009/11/declara... or anyone else who is interested. I am glad you liked how I set up this review. I put some thought into it, but I wasn't sure it would read as well as I hoped.

http://poseysessions.blogspot.com/ : Can You Survive?

I would probably be one of the first to go too, which is why I so excited I lived as long as I did and didn't even get killed by a zombie! My email is not a big fan of me either, but with Mr. X and I both signed up I have a way to know if I miss one. So far, thankfully, I haven't missed one. I think the program is a great way to try out new books. Thanks for the comment. I definitely think this would be worth buying and keeping around for those days when you want to read something but you can't decide what!

3 books does make a list. Don't beat yourself up! Just think about the people who don't read that many books in a year. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE check out Silver Phoenix. I promised Cindy I would recommend it and I have been trying to do it as much as possible because it has been a LONG time since I felt so strongly about a book.

Thank you for the encouragement. I didn't update this list before I posted it, so I know that book will be a little later but I have it right here ready to go when everyone else has it. I have more books I have gotten since I wrote this and books I forgot about but at least I have a starting point, AND I am blogging again. Thanks again.

I take in a lot of books. Maybe about 1000 a year. I think I can take it easy for a month and t won't be a big deal. For me there is a fine line between having fun and not doing anything. Sometimes we forget how fun things are unless we are doing them. I have spent a month being unfocused and I want to change that. Thanks for the comment and the encouragement.

In January I brought in about 200 books or so and I read 7. My goal was to read twice that many. I think by not buying books it will help me refocus some and not feel overwhelmed. I have piles of books here from my wishlists and still they just sit. I may make up for the month off by buying 400 books in March, but I am okay with that!

Recovering from the holidays is hard for me. I feel like so much of my focus is split. We got at lot a books out to students and next term/this term will be even better because it won't have so many holidays splitting it up. I need to read that Alexi book. I really like the short writings I studied in the Native American class I took. I think I am about 20 reviews behind, so I can understand being behind.

Oh I forgot to put the SWAP part. I am addicted to getting books through them even though I have MORE than enough here. I really enjoyed The New Policeman. Have you read more in the series? I have two other first books in series by Kate Thompson here and I am hoping to start at least one of them soon.

http://poseysessions.blogspot.com/ : The Sunday Salon– Animal House

The Declaration seems to be gaining a lot of interest right now. The best thing about it is that the whole series has released now (I think) so no waiting in suspense. Unless you make it yourself. I keep planning on reading The Resistance but never do. Partly I loved The Declaration so much I don't want that love affair to end. Please let me know if you read either book, I would love to know your thoughts on them.
