A bike rental shop is currently located near the Cruise Terminal across Harbor Drive adjacent the Holiday Inn. Additionally, a bike sharing program has recently expressed interest in locating facilities on the Embarcadero. Port staff has met with the proponents and may review the concept as a potential component of the Green Port program. Thanks for your suggestion and input!

The existing launching ramp is fenced off by the contractor and closed to the public during construction. We anticipate the dock will reopen by April 2009. We consider it a safety hazard to launch from any other area. Coronado, J St. Marina and Spanish Landing (across from the airport) are other alternatives to try.
