My husband and I have our conceal and carry license and own guns legally. It's because of the criminals that have guns-and will have guns no matter what the law says-that our right to bear arms needs to be upheld. I am willing to bet that the shootings you are talking about were committed by criminals with no regard for the law. I want to be able to defend myself and my family in the event of a break-in or attack. We are ordinary people and responsible gun owners. If you do not feel comfortable owning a gun that is perfectly understandable. But I do not want anyone telling me that I have to give mine up so that only the criminals are armed.
