We are the only industrialized nation not to ratify the Kyoto Protocal, and with good reason. China and India are exempted due to being developing nations, and we would be placed at a global disadvantage is we enter into the binding agreement. Too boot, the goverment would charge for allowance permits, generating over $80 billion in additional revenue for the those who say they are saving us from ourselves. Who would really pay for the cost of CO2 reduction......you got.......go look in the mirror. I could ramble for days on the topic, but my suggestion to Obama is that he do some research and not make statements on national television that are inaccurate regaring Cap and Trade. By that.....I mean the one where he linked energy independance to C and T. That's not what it's all about. It's is about reducing green house gases.....but I'm sure his teleprompter just missed that small FACT. I'm done now.
