<title>/Film : What Did You Think of Star Trek?</title>
<link>http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/05/08/what-did-you-think-of-star-trek/#IDComment21111130</link>
<description>First act i found unbearable and heavy handed, and the story was weak at parts and it really pandered to the lowest common denominator $$$ (definitely this years Transformers) for example i think they could have handled the Spock prime aspect better, especially its conclusion, and the stupid Scotty side kick was a Lucasian addition, although i now have massive respect for Karl Urban (after doom that&amp;#039;s hard), as for me now he is bones, and bones was always my favorite TOS character. To be honest i love anything sci-fi but do we really need reboots especially big dumb Hollywood ones! I&amp;#039;m way more excited for some more original and intimate stuff like Moon, and District 9. </description>
