Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Organize This through 4/27

Comrade Lenin helped take down a Tsar (Czar) and deliver a corrupt, totalitarian utopia which starved 20 million people, executed millions and built a prison industry all in the name of raising up workers. I know, if only Lenin had not died it would have all worked out in the end.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Barney Frank Debates A Student On The Financial Crisis

Barney Frank along with a significant number of Massachusetts (state & federal) political incumbents never faces any major party competition in running for re-election. It is truely a sad state of affairs and leads to such outrageous arrogance. The student could have asked more direct questions but Representative Frank should be able to explain what he could have done to halt the sub-prime mortgage mess when he had oversight over Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae during this economic disaster. It is up to the person in charge to explain his actions not the person who asks him to explain it.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : America's Wish List

Your post and some of the replies are why America desperately needs to focus upon education in the Math & Sciences. Anyone who has taken and understands High School physics would know that electro-magnetism can be used in an engine but you still need either electricty to generate magnetism OR wind/water etc. to turn magnets to generate electricity. Can we produce more effecient engines? Yes, we surely can and must. Can we produce an engine that runs without putting energy into it? No. Quite simply, No.

While I would have chosen a slightly different list of values, I applaud the public posting of a set of values. For too long we have acted as though values should take a back seat because they might be influenced by our religious or spiritual education and life experiences. America has had it backwards for decades, our values should inform the Law rather than the Law informing our values. It is foolish to expect the legal system to inform us as it is by definition a lowest common denominator system. Outside of the Bill of Rights (Which exists purposely to diminish the power of the state over individuals) the remaining body of Constitutional Law is either administrative, contractual or criminal. The inspiration that is contained in the Declaration of Independence and the preamble to the Constitution should never be overshadowed by the body of Law promulgated so that we may conduct business whether public or private.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : The 9/12

When you look at the relatively affluent lifestyle that 20-30 year olds became accustomed to while children and teenagers (for example: frequent air travel, access to technology, plentiful entertainment and regular dining out) without having to sacrifice or earn it themselves you can begin to see the disconnect between enjoying the rewards of capitalism while bashing it as an evil system. How you can enjoy your ipod or Prius and fail to understand that they would not exist without capitalism is the height of ignorance.
