Out of control. It should not be taxpayers responsibility to babysit bars & their patrons. I'd set-up road blocks at closing time & test each driver, & after a few weekends of this, the crowd will decrease. At the minimum, all the revellers should be given Disturbing the Peace citations. But if guns are involved, get a warrant, & around 2 am search every car.
Yes, it'd be nice to know how far the kids were walking, but I'm surprised that if the kids walked this frequently, that they'd be in the right-a-way of a car. And if this teacher frequents this route, that she'd be aware kids walk on this road. I'm also curious if phone records will be checked to see if texting/calling played a part. Just tragic. Maybe the $ isn't available for sidewalks, but gravel & a few lights is easily affordable, especially with the tax$ we pay. Prayers to the families.
We can all discuss the evil actions, & judge from our amrchairs, but it's just terribly tragic in that a family has lost 2 young sons. My prayers are with them. But these situations seem to be happening so frequent now, so it would be beneficial to delve deeper into this, find the influences causing this so that maybe families & children can be not only be helped, but quite possibly prevent this more often.
So sad. Cain & Able? Television UNDOUBTABLY needs reformed. What if TV shows had themes of Samaritism, Loving One Another, displayed examples of how to react when encountered with all types of situations, or more shows on how bully's are jerk & their long-term effects on other kids. Producers think DRAMA SELLS... but what if we made it REAL LIFE, with daily situations that kids/people encounter, to help them better prepare to overcome all these situations in a positive manner? I want to TV to be a POSITIVE INFLUENCE on our youth, not a DEGENERATIVE INFLUENCE. Too many negetives influencing our kids from all directions...we need to change this. My prayers to this family in this terribly difficult time.
I'm an avid hunter, but I'm still grappling with the logic of killing a bear. Is it the "thrill" of killing a beast, cause I don't see it...he's unarmed. Maybe if hand to hand, or with a knife, if the "challenge" is the reason. Is it for food? No, nobody eats bear, unless you're starving. For a rug? Please...isn't that wasteful? I've always hunted, & thanked God for the ability & providing this staple, but bear hunting seems nothing more than inflating pride...& that's shallow & meaningless. But....does bear meat make good jerky?

The Catholic Church is not free of sin, which is why their church needs to repent. But my church is Jesus Christ. Everything man-made is imperfect. Google..Whore of Babylon and research it. The Catholic Church came from the Romans. And being how we fought to free ourselves from the Catholic Church, it's remarkable of how many people are naive to the truth.

The ONLY place that "Sep. of Ch. & St" was in a letter from 1 member to another. It is NOWHERE in The Constitution, or anywhere in Gov't Legislation. This comment was intended to refer to how the Catholic Church was intertwined with the British Gov't & were basicly 1 & the same. So thus they justified all their taxes & actions through the church. We do not want the church telling us how much to pay in taxes, but it IS expected to lead this country with a Christian mindset, which is documented is ALL our forefather's documents. Just look on EVERY Gov't building. They trusted God for wisdom & leadership.
