It is very UNFAIR for you to say that without finding out the truth. Did you realize that a lot of flights (e.g NWA......) are still on schedule in the same airport? Did you know why Alaska/Horizon (same complany) have to cancel all of their flights? And you believe that it's all out of the weather? The truth is that Alaska/Horizon can't fly their planes because they ran out of the fluid to defrost the snow. It's not the passengers' fault to have picked the wrong airline. They are the victims, and you just sit in your warm, cozy house and blame on those people stranded during the holidays?!

Besides, not all people can take their vacation leave whenever they want. If you can, be grateful about it, don't judge peope who can't. For examples, responsible teachers can't take their leave until the holidays, same to many other poeple in different occupations and situations. it would have been nice if you posted your suggestion instead of a statement full of guilt-tripping questions. You're just mean to these unfortunate people! Stop judging people when you are not in their shoes.
