I would think that the man that he shot would be able to sue him in a civil court, that may hit this teen where it hurts - right in the bank account. That gunshot wound could cause problems for the rest of the victim's life.

WSBT South Bend - Your Local News Leader : to cut 216 jobs, close Michigan plant | WSBT - News, Weather, Sports South Bend | Local News

MOTRDAD's posting brings the big picture into focus. The big manufacturing companies, i.e. Whirlpool, Bosch have been forced to update, slim down, and rethink their business all together or most likely they will not be around much longer (2 to 5 years). I don't know of any company (not Government) that can shovel money into a workforce and post red numbers year in and year out without the obvious outcome. Also, I did not hear recently that Bosch was closing, trimmed back yes, but the Stevensville plant remains open.

216 jobs out of how many total positions that remain within other departments at the Benton Harbor location or locations? I do not see where the article mentioned any jobs were going out of country just to Ohio. Even with this unfortunate job elimination, Whirlpool remains one of the top employers in Berrien County and financial contributors to the area.
