Not the way our legal system works. They will grant a restraining order because the crimminal case is not settled. No judge wants the responsibility of not granting one and then something bad happens.
Honestly they don't have to have anything on her! She was the last person to see him and it is a criminal case. That's enough! Also she is cooperating so she probably said take it!
Unfortunately our legal system is not always just. We want to blame and come to false conclusion to appease the conscious and have closure at the expense of the innocent . That it was her father is aware of. The District Attorney will simply have her arrested to have a grand jury look at the evidence to see if there is enough evidence to prosecute. Regardless of guilt she was the last one to see him; she is the stepmom and her whereabouts are questionable. Guilty and arrested are two different entities, although the trauma of being arrested and treated like a criminal will have lifelong effects.

There are so many child abusers/molesters in prison now I doubt it is even a hostile place for them. New laws to chop off female and male genitalia involved in sexual child abuse might get their attention!

I'm white, upper class and I tend to agree with the over all statement, Don't call the police! I do agree that holding them accountable and changing laws is more productive in the long run, but it does little justice for the present people envolved and can actual do more harm to innocent people that get caught up in the charged till proven innocent.
Obama said he would bring them home. 10,000 came home and 10,000 went back out. That is not bringing them home.
The age of 14 is to young to be considered an adult. The brain has not fully developed. He really is no different than a 13 year old. Treating him as an adult and mixing him with adults after 18 will only produce a worse outcome. What we need to look at as a society is the input that is going into these children. What were they exposed to at home? Pornography, violent video games and a dominant gender mentality. Drinking and drugs could also be involved. Even the movies the parent have on stimulate earlier development in their kids. Children today do not have enough supervision and the parents that do keep a tighter rein are labeled extremist. Children have learned that anything goes! Whether it's not wearing a bike helmet to staying out passed curfew and drinking laws are laughed at and not respected. Parents need to be held accountable for allowing their children to be exposed to these things. Nine and ten year olds raping! They have not even gone through puberty yet . What were they exposed to? With crimes being committed by younger children it is a wakeup call to parents to limit the computer and monitor the texting and be a better role model.
Sam Adams did not come out and say he wasn't going to resign until Breedlove said he was 18. Why did Sam wait ? He had to makes sure that Breedlove was going to lie. The next issue. The news reported Sam Adams was laying low couldn't go to work, to emotional. I heard he was at the Inaugeration in DC by other reports. When Sam Adams was sworn into office at Parkrose High School he took a oath to be honest and Represent a wonderful city. In the gay community it needs to be realized that you don't support someone just because they are gay. This gives a poorer view of an allready discriminated group. Lying is wrong 100% when running or being in office. When you choose to be in a public position it opens your whole life up, no secrets. Be honest or it will bite you. Sam Adams was not honest and he needs to be removed.
