After I met a number of people who work for both companies and realized the impact they have on the local economy I became less unjustly critical. I still think Linux is a better OS and you'll rarely see me in a Starbucks, but I do wish both companies success. In the case of Microsoft, I hope they keep up with the competition, improve and also create something new. Competition is a good thing! I don't want a Apple or Google dominated market, for the same reasons I didn't want a Microsoft one.
