Breitbart.tv : U.S. Military Bracing For Drastic Cuts

Just what so many of us feared would happen. The next step is conditioning our remaining troops to scream Allahu Akhbar! every time they kill an enemy. Our military is the only thing standing between our citizens and the world's aggressors. Obama is proof positive that a President without serious military familiarity should never be chosen to lead this nation. Commander-in-Chief my ass.

The really sad part of this is the small business owners whose shops are inevitably trashed and patrons frequently accosted, threatened or scared away. Then add in the wasted law enforcement resources and tax dollars spent to clean up the mess these self-righteous lemmings leave behind when they are finished, and what do they have to show for it? Nothing. The innocent always pay the price when the rabble run amok. It's just about a given that none of the Wall Street "types" who are allegedly being targeted by the lawlessness of the masses give a flying f*ck what these "people" have to say about them or their business practices. And it's even more certain that none of them has any intention of changing their ways. Very stupid and very sad that our country has come to this.

Breitbart.tv : Bill Press On Iraq: 'Republicans Refuse To Give A Black Man Credit'

Bill: Give me a black man who deserves respect and credit and I'll be the first to recognize it. The fundamental fallacy underlying your comments is your assumption that because something comes out of a black man's mouth it's by definition praiseworthy. This certainly isn't true of white men or yellow or brown men. So why should black men be any different?

Whoa, there, keemosabe! Let's back up the wagon. How can you smugly sit there, after experiencing the egregious deception and outright daily falsehoods of the Obama administration, and say lies were "the primary tool of the Bush presidency"? Many of us probably liked Bush at least as much at the time as you did; after all, most of us hate to have our faces rubbed in blatantly idiotic oratory: it's embarrassing. However, the current Presidential Pretender, with all of his highly-touted rhetorical skills (precious little of which I have witnessed despite overwhelming media coverage), has established a new low point for political incompetence and outright mendacity. Which would you rather have: a straight-talking President with minimal oratorical skills who frequently acts on the basis of incomplete and/or inaccurate information; or an inept and politically dangerous President, whose alliances are invariably made with, and allegiances are owed nearly exclusively to, our nation's enemies, but who can lie straight-faced to the Devil and con him out of his fiddle? Take your pick. I, for one, will choose the straight, but stupid, talker every time.

Breitbart.tv : Senator Schumer Mocks Millionaires

Part 3 The remedy is a far more involved and far better informed electorate that will not shy away from making tough (and even sometimes unpopular) decisions that are motivated by consideration of the good of the country, not by self-interest. Can we ever again achieve that level of integrity as a nation? That is a good question; but unless and until we do, the Chuck Schumers of the world will be the norm, not the exception.

Breitbart.tv : Senator Schumer Mocks Millionaires

Part 2 They openly and unabashedly pass off forged documentation as genuine; refuse to enforce laws they disagree with whenever it suits them; look the other way as our country is invaded by foreigners whose presence is motivated only by the ready availability of free handouts; and rip our society to shreds promoting class warfare in order to keep their critics off balance. And all the while the media conspires to misrepresent everything they say and whitewash everything they do. And as if this weren't bad enough, a large, ill-informed segment of our population votes on the basis of skin color and a supposed identity of experience that is nothing but hot air; political promises that are as worthless as wooden nickels; and accounts of self-sacrifice and valor that have been stolen from those who actually lived them. We are so in need of great and selfless leadership that we literally jump at every huckster who looks good and makes the right noises. And that, Kevin, is how we have ended up in this mess.

To KevinT 633, who wanted to know how a blowhard like Schumer could ever get elected: Take a look around: we've (as a nation) also managed to elect Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Kerry, Durbin, Dodd, Frank, and many, many others. They have all participated in conferring upon themselves a perpetual pension that is unobtainable in the private sector, a platinum plated health plan the rest of us can only dream of, and other goodies too numerous and offensive to list in this short space. And all the while, so many of them are among the wealthiest people in the nation. They treat their supposedly "representative" status as an open-ended license to dictate to the citizens they are supposed to be representing the way those citizens' lives should be lived, like it or not. They confiscate our hard-earned tax dollars and distribute them to their political cronies (like Solyndra, SEIU, AFSCME and the Teachers' Union) and thugs (like Acorn, the New Black Panthers, the Teamsters, etc.) to buy votes to keep themselves in office despite their arrogance and thievery.
