I went to private Christan school and we never had the government give us a ride. That was in Davenport but I have never herd of such a thing as Government supporting Christan schooling in any way. Most Christan stuff demands the government stay out of there biz - interesting???

So have I from Mt Vernon cops but they brake every law known to man! People just don't want to see the facts as they are! If we common people do anything wrong weather related or not do we get any slack? NO NO NO! Cops think they are above the law - they forget they work for us and should treat everyone with compassion. They are to inforce the law not make the law!

WOW! Very strong point. If you read on to Rom 1:32 it tells what will happen to those that do this them self and those that approve of the lifestyle. Rev 22:15 calling them dogs is harsh. Not A good way to viewed by God!

they have been living free for a long time. Why cant they start to pay rent, Why should the tax payers (All of us) pay the bill. I understand they got flooded and lost about everything they had but come on how long do you need free living before you can start paying your own way again. I would think 6 months at the most, you still have jobs and money. With not having to pay rent for all this time you should be able to afford twice this amounts. That is if you was smart and saved the money you didn't have to spend for housing instead of living life up to the fullest.

I have nothing against another persons sexual likes or dislikes but I dont think they should be teaching our children in Sunday School. I know this will get bad reviews but we all know we dont want someone that has different views in life as far one sides as this in charge of a church that teaches the Bible which is 100% against gay marriage.

Gun control will not limit crime or murders - look at Philippines the last few weeks they have total gun control and how many people have been murdered by guns and other means like cutting of heads. If you think gun control or no guns will limit crimes or any kind you are fooling yourself! The first murder known to man kind was Adam and Eves children - they didn't have guns then! How do you think the murder was done? If they had gun control do you think that murder would not have happened oh thats right a gun was not used! Mexico has limited to no guns (total gun control) in homes (only the bad people have them) and they have a higher murder rate then USA. Still the simple fact is gun control will limit nothing but the good people being able to protect them self. I am not a gun supporter just realistic to the facts at hand! If you take the time to look at the reports its very simple to see that guns do not kill people. Other countries that do not allow gun ownership still have high crime and murder rates. Think about it - every person that kills someone is bare foot or wearing shoes - we should have more shoe control that way we can track the people even if they didn't use a gun. Little ridicules isn't it - same is gun control and gun laws. The facts are guns do not kill people / people kill people. You can not stop murders as long as we still have people on this earth even if you take the guns away.

This is not for Government to decide its the responsibility parents. If they can not keep there own children in line put them in jail with the child. Government is trying to control every aspect of our lives its not there place. Parents step up and control your brats or STOP having them. Police should have more pressing issues to deal with.

5. Who cares, let Woods and his wife deal with this. I do not agree with cheating, its a sin that is very hard to overcome in any marriage but its not every ones biz. This is a great idea if they fire 1/2 the police force now that they are not needed. I recommend to put a camera at every stop light - reduce 1/2 to 3/4 the police force that do nothing but spend tax money and harass people. For some reason the police departments think they are above the law - they forget they work for us and only enforce the law.

install public transportation - more buses, a train system connection us to the rest of the world out there (Chicago, Twin Cities ect). Lets put Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area on the US map not just Iowa map. Sorry to say but we are seen as a small hick farm town to most of the US but we are much greater then that. Maybe our elected people need to work harder to make this a better place to live where our collage students want to stay NOT MOVE AWAY.
