If you have your confirmatory test done and the result turns out positive, then you can bring your confirmatory letter to your chosen hub.

ARVs or antiretroviral drugs are available only in HIV hubs. They are not sold in drug stores. It is given for free when it is already time for you to take them. Meaning, if your CD4 is low or if you already have opportunistic infection. Lab tests, etc. will be given to you once you submit yourself to an HIV hub.

hi juan... there are times that I also get down and depressed (that can't be avoided), but there's no other way else but to go up. it's just normal to feel bad and hurt, but let us not allow these negative emotions to conquer our lives. Roads may get bumpy ahead, but let's hold on to our faith in God. :-)

sorry for the late reply. anyway, based on what i've read over the internet, mga sites din about HIV, we should refrain from eating sushi, sashimi, and the likes. grrrr. diba? fave ko pa naman japanese food. :-(
also, refrain din tayo from eating mga sinugba; those that are grilled. and bawal din oysters. and let us also be particular on how our food is being prepared. nakaka-paranoid, pero it's for our well-being din.
although i'm still not taking ARVs, i'm also trying to comply sa mga recommendations ng mga HIV specialists especially on food intake, diet, exercise, and activities of daily living. :-)

Hi Ma'am, I checked interaksyon.com where I got this article: http://www.interaksyon.com/entertainment/lumayo-k...

Thank you very much for the clarification. I truly appreciate your reply to this post. I do hope that in one way or another, the readers of this blog would understand better and know the truth behind Mr. Naval's demise. He has done a lot of good works even after his death, and it is my hope that more people, especially those living with HIV, may take inspiration from his life. Kahit ako, I still want to return to our Father because I know, madami pa din akong pagkukulang sa Kanya.

Good day Ma'am. Thanks for the clarification. As indicated in the last part of this article, my source is interaksyon.com dated December 3, 2012. I truly understand your feelings, and I would like to inform you as well that the article posted here was taken from the said source. The purpose of this blog is to share my personal journey with HIV, and also to collate news and updates about HIV for my readers (with proper attributions to its original source).

I can also recall that the said article was posted in everythinginbudget.blogspot.com, and the said website also made attributions that the article belongs to interaksyon.com.

It was not my intention, in any way, to cause harm to your family, and especially that to your departed brother.

I think there's no harm in trying alternative medicine. But I also believe that when an HIV positive person is already taking ARVs, then he should consult his primary doctor if it's okay to take alternative meds. But thanks for opening this up. :-)
