About the "too long comments": It has something to do with browser cache settings on the user's end. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done with it from our end.

Someone needs to just pull the trigger and give Geoff Johns his own DC Universe show that utilizes as much/little of the DCU that he wants to use. The man knows how to write compelling superhero television.

Well...my family name is Dallaire. There's some Cabral in the ol' family tree. So no Italian, just the French and Portuguese. But my sainted Aunt Lyn is a Sevigny...so some Italian by marriage.

Hey, I was tired and thought there might be at least some stock Bristol shots. Realized within moments that it wasn't really in Bristol when I saw the giant Welcome/Octopus sign. Bubble suitably burst. And you definitely drove right past my house when you drove to Newport. My family's property was right along the way (it's a small town in a small state...only one way to Newport if you're going through Bristol). Lisa and I go up there twice a year and aim to make it home as soon as we can. Perhaps I'll lobby for the giant Octopus sign when we get there.

Okay, I haven't been watching SPN since it came back from hiatus. Kinda felt like the first half of the season just sort of limped along. But Bristol, Rhode Island? That's where I grew up. Now I'm going to have to watch.

Pink Raygun.com : NBC, Please Stop Trying So Hard

Watched The Cape last night...have to admit to enjoying it quite a bit. It was fun. As far as Harry's Law, I didn't know anything about it until I saw a promo during The Cape. Based on the promo alone, I'm not sure I was won over. But the fact that this is from the same mind that brought us Boston Legal gives me great hope, and great desire to see this show succeed. I really, really miss Boston Legal.

Pink Raygun.com : The Fan Whisperer - Part 1

Sylvia - you're well versed in the ways of fanfic and the communities. Is there something out there that's NOT being done, that maybe we could do on PRG? I'm all for supporting existing fanfic sites, but it just seems like fanfic might be a fun place to play.

So, what do you think? Should Pink Raygun start a fanfic section? It's something I've long considered, but I'm not sure if the world needs another fanfic repository. Any thoughts from anyone?

Pink Raygun.com : Free Pumpkin Carving Template - The Hunger Games

Sorry about that. I've updated the template - I didn't notice that a piece was free-standing in the design. Sometimes, when a carving goes wrong, I've been able to salvage the pumpkin by using toothpicks to hold thin pieces together.
