Accidentally jailbroke using the official firmware, but the BB stuck to 06.15.00. However I could not unlock using ultrasn0w. Have tried to reflash 06.15.00 using the ipad option in redsn0w but I keep on getting an error: "Mounting rootfs as read-only...ERROR! " Tried this a few times now, but getting the same error. Tried running redsn0w in XP compatibility mode as an administrator as well, but same error message. Any suggestions? Had ios 4.3.3 running, jailbroken and unlocked, without any problem. Upgraded to iOS5 with BB 06.15.00 (and old bootrom) and followed steps as prescribed above. The Jailbreak works fine. I install Ultrasn0w 1.2.4, but the phone remains on on searching or no service, as described above. BTW I did follow the instructions for the Location trick. I did try to downgrade to 4.3.3, but got the 1394 error message in itunes, even though I'd cleared out the host files. Any ideas? Thanks!
