The argument that America can bargain from a position of economic strength is becoming hollow as our growth continues to falter. Obama is pretty smug about our ability to obtain energy from around the world but at what cost. The way the world is changing in the Middle east why does he insist on choking our ability to extract our own oil? Wouldn't China welcome an opportunity to spend American fiat money on Iranian oil they have probably purchased at a discount, given the need Iran has to sell oil? Might not China benefit also to invest in other than U.S. debt? China wins, Iran wins, Europe and America lose. And, in the end, Iran builds a nuclear bomb anyway. Swell! And meanwile our leaking economy is bleeding us to death. So, you say, what's 45 billion in the scheme of things? Well while we work on that problem America is another trillion in debt this year. With these policies, America's days are numbered. And no Keystone Pipline, no ANWAR oil, no drilling off Alaska or the gulf and the sad list goes on. Now I'd like to vote for the incumbent but when you consider Wasserman's statement on Romney and put it on Obama, her statement rings more true for Obama than any republican.
