I emailed HGTV several times and so did my friends- they never replied to ANY of the emails! I too could vote several times on certain days. This was totally rigged!!!

HGTV Design Star : Challenge 9: Meet Your New Design Star

Are you kidding me??? No wonder the judges chose this year! Antonio was picked from the beginning! That explains why Lonni got kicked off last week for having the BY FAR best room!! They had to get rid of her because she would have kicked Antonio's butt. His office last week sucked! Lame show!!

Lonni's room was very cool. She had a lot more work than the others with replacing the floor and she pulled it off with style.

HGTV Design Star : Challenge 5: Homes of the Brave

Dsile- While I do apologize for calling you an idiot- Don't you think the important thing is that the Homeowner said, "I love that wall!!" ? And yes, he IS in the Military. Take the time, as I have, to research these designers outside the HGTV bubble. You will find Lonni is not "the worst designer ever" as you voiced, but extremely talented. My involvement in the Military is in sending care packages to soldiers and supporting their families at Christmas time, so I loved what Lonni did with the wall to honor this family, and I'm glad they loved it too.

The white wall room was still Lonni's design. The other two just helped her at the last minute put things in place. And obviously it wasn't cheating if the producers allowed it. She obviously has earned the respect of the other designers who were happy she didn't get the boot.

No one would want a wall covered in clover leafs or key ignitions. I agree. But the Homeowner said, "I love this wall!!" and that, bottom line, is what's important. It was done to honor him and by their reactions, that was accomplished.

Lonni honored that family with the Chevron wall. Read this definition (I wondered what exactly they are) and you'll agree! -Worn by most enlisted personnel in every military service branch, the chevron is composed of V-shaped stripes. The use of these insignia can be traced to feudal days, when knights were awarded chevrons for capturing a castle or other building. This may explain the chevron's "roofed" appearance and French root of word meaning "roof." In heraldry, the chevron denoted those who were head of a clan -- or, "top of the house." Way to go Lonni!!!

Dsile- you're the idiot. You think all Lonni did in 3 days is the one wall? Were you using your bathroom when she was helping Nate build the entertainment system, paint the other walls, place items and clean up? You're ignorant to editing! The Chevron wall was brilliant! And for those of you who say you wouldn't want to come home to see your work- Have you thought about the fact that the military isn't work, it's a way of life? These brave men and women give us our freedom while we sit on our butts and blog about what designer we like and don't like. It would be an honor to come home and see that! Well done Lonni!

Lonni got the wall done, painted, cleaned, decorated AND helped Nathan build the entertainment center!!! Did you not watch the show??? HGTV has the target on her back next. I feel sorry for her. She's a great designer. I like the stuff she's done, they just edit it for drama!!

Wow. Did you not see Dan forget the $? Her white room was finished but with a different design than her plan A. And she and Nathan got stuck in traffic, not in the stores all day. If you're going to comment, at least watch the show. Then be aware than editing means they don't show you everything.
